Ngô Quang Hải is originally from Hải Phòng and graduated from the Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema. He currently lives in both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, where he has been deeply involved in Vietnamese filmmaking, especially international co-productions, for over 20 years.

He has participated in nearly 20 feature films and has had to make a living through various jobs along the way. Hải has worked as an actor, assistant director, and assistant to some of Vietnam’s most renowned directors, including Đặng Nhật Minh, Lê Đức Tiến, Lưu Trọng Ninh, Vũ Xuân Hưng, Vương Đức, and Mỹ Hà, among others. He has also played leading roles in several foreign films shot in Vietnam.

Professional Experience

  • Shareholder, Manager, Business Development, and M&A Executive for the Cinebox-Cinema joint venture (2003–2011)

  • Board Member of Cinema One Vietnam joint venture in partnership with EGV (2012–2015)

  • Managed film exhibition operations, film distribution, cinema equipment procurement, supplier evaluation, and potential site surveys for new cinemas

  • Oversaw cinema quality control and competitive analysis

  • Provided marketing consulting services for major brands (Canal+ (K+), Facebook, Heineken, Nokia, Ford, Unilever, Nestlé, Sanofi, etc.)

Key Achievements

  • Increased box-office revenue and advertising value for Cinema One cinemas by 400% from 2004 to 2008

  • Successfully executed M&A transactions for Cinema One, generating substantial returns

  • Played a key role in introducing the modern multiplex cinema model to the Vietnamese market starting in 2003

With 8 years of experience in commercial film marketing within the aviation industry and 6 years in film production across various formats (short films, TV commercials, music videos, viral videos, channel-building content, and product videos), Mr. Nguyễn Phúc Đạt has successfully managed numerous high-quality projects.

As Executive Producer at VIMAX Entertainment, he has led production projects for leading brands including VinGroup, Panasonic, Samsung, LG, Hoàng Huy Group, MK Corporation, Novaland, and Hưng Thịnh. His expertise includes:

  • Commercial & Aviation Films: Managing brand promotion campaigns, safety videos, and service introduction videos.

  • Diverse Film Genres: Overseeing creative development and production for TV commercials, viral content, and digital campaigns.

  • Project & Budget Management: Ensuring efficient workflows, cost control, and on-time project delivery.

He was also awarded the Silver Award at the Asia Marketing Excellence Awards 2018.

Ms. Đoàn Mai Phương excels in strategic financial planning, risk management, and leadership. She has held executive positions at leading investment funds and multinational corporations, overseeing financial and investment portfolios for major private-sector projects both domestically and internationally.

Her career encompasses financial planning, portfolio management, tax advisory, and wealth management for high-net-worth individuals at major banks and financial institutions. She has also managed financial and investment operations for prominent enterprises in Vietnam and abroad.

Ms. Phương is renowned for designing financial strategies, controlling risk, and raising capital for private investment projects. Her extensive expertise in international finance and strong leadership skills have made her a key driving force in connecting Vietnam’s creative and film industries with global markets.

At VIMAX, she leads the expansion of international financial partnerships and overseas fundraising efforts, significantly contributing to the development of Vietnam’s film industry and cultural innovation.

Nguyễn Bảo Anh is one of the outstanding students trained by Professor Martin Gatt, former Principal Bassoonist of the London Symphony Orchestra. He was awarded the prestigious full scholarship from the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother at the Royal Academy of Music, covering both tuition and living expenses. During his studies, he won the Concerto Prize and performed Mozart’s Bassoon Concerto as soloist with the Royal Academy of Music Chamber Orchestra.

Nguyễn Bảo Anh has appeared as soloist and principal bassoonist at numerous music festivals across Europe, including the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival (Germany), Carinthian Summer Music Festival (Austria), Pablo Casals Festival (France), and British Youth Opera (UK).

From 2005 to 2010, he served as Principal Bassoon of the Daejeon Philharmonic Orchestra in South Korea. During this period, he was regularly featured on national television broadcasts, performing major works such as Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring, Tchaikovsky’s Symphonies Nos. 4 and 5, Britten’s War Requiem, Messiaen’s Turangalîla-Symphonie, the tone poems of Richard Strauss, and many others.

In 2007, he founded the professional ensemble Happy Bassoon Quintet in Seoul. Early in his career, Nguyễn Bảo Anh was invited to perform as Principal Bassoon with renowned orchestras including the Shanghai Radio Symphony Orchestra, Macao Orchestra, Hong Kong City Chamber Orchestra, Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, Bangkok Festival Orchestra, and Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra.

He has appeared as guest bassoonist with orchestras across Seoul, Hong Kong, Macao, China, Malaysia, Thailand, and his native Vietnam. Since 2010, he has continuously held the position of Principal Bassoon with Hong Kong Opera. Since 2016, Bảo Anh has served as Artistic Director of the Saigon Philharmonic Orchestra (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam), and currently holds the positions of Director of the Hong Kong Bassoon Academy and Bauhinia Musik Haus (Hong Kong).

Born in the small town of Townsville, Australia, his journey in cinematography has taken him across multiple continents, eventually finding a second home in the bustling city of Hong Kong at the age of just 19.

Cinematic Journey in Hong Kong Stepping into a completely unfamiliar environment, Wade plunged into the world of filmmaking, initially knowing no one and uncertain about the path ahead. Over time, he immersed himself in the vibrant landscape of iconic Cantonese cinema, collaborating with legendary Hong Kong stars.

Hollywood Calling: Elephant White His role as Director of Photography on the Hollywood action film Elephant White marked a major turning point in his career. The film starred Oscar-nominated Djimon Hounsou and Golden Globe winner Kevin Bacon, and was directed by acclaimed Thai filmmaker Prachya Pinkaew (Ong-Bak).

Recent Feature Films In recent years, Wade has had the opportunity to lens compelling projects spanning genres and continents. From the Hollywood blockbuster Occupation: Rainfall featuring Ken Jeong and Temuera Morrison, to the thrilling Kiss of the Con Queen with Ravi Patel, each project tells a unique story. He also had the honor of serving as Director of Photography for the Thailand unit of James Wan’s cinematic universe in Warner Bros.’ Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

After graduating with a Master of Arts degree in Australia, she has served as Director of Photography on more than 30 short films and three television series, with numerous works receiving prestigious awards, including:

  • So Close to Home (Dendy Award 2004)

  • Preservation (AFI Award nomination)

Cordelia also wrote, produced, and co-directed the experimental film The Eye Inside (2005), which earned two Australian Film Institute (AFI) nominations for Best Short Science-Fiction Film and Outstanding Cinematography. Her works have been screened at renowned film festivals such as Cannes and Clermont-Ferrand.

Robert Trân is a talented creative director who has left a distinctive mark on numerous high-profile film and game show projects. He has contributed to acclaimed feature films such as Angelina Jolie’s First They Killed My Father, which vividly recreates life under the Khmer Rouge regime, and Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods, shot in Vietnam with striking authenticity. Additionally, he worked on the Korean series Taxi Driver 2, known for its themes of justice, as well as popular game shows including Game Show and The Challenge, where he demonstrated his ability to craft creative and captivating content. With his diverse experience, Robert Trân is a key figure in bringing cultural depth and artistic vision to entertainment productions.

Nguyễn Sơn is one of the few Vietnamese artists who has consistently won international awards since his student years. Currently, in addition to his activities with the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association, he regularly participates in seminars and exhibitions in the United Kingdom, the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, and many other countries.

He possesses a harmonious and refined vision, with a distinctive ability to employ contrast and opposition, as well as a masterful selection of color palettes that reflect the talent of an outstanding artist. These qualities will bring fresh, powerful, and effective perspectives to the film project Rain Streak. He is the ideal choice for a high-quality cinematic production that demands rigorous aesthetic standards.
